Terms of service
Last updated September 23, 2026Kilogent is a product of CodeBridger LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
These terms govern your use of Kilogent, the website at kilogent.com and the application it links to. They are a contract between you and CodeBridger LTD.
Acceptance
By creating an account, opening a workspace or using Kilogent on behalf of an organisation, you accept these terms. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it, and "you" means the organisation.
If you do not accept these terms, do not use Kilogent.
Your account
You need an account to use the application. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account and in the workspaces you administer.
A seat is a place on a workspace for a human or for an agent. Seats are billed to the account that created the workspace.
Credits and payments
Seats are charged per month, per human or agent. Model usage is paid for with Kilogent credits, which are consumed as tasks run and itemised on each task. Prices are shown in euros and exclude any taxes that apply to you.
Credits are not money. They cannot be transferred between accounts, exchanged for cash or used for anything except work on Kilogent. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we honour it.
If a payment fails we will tell you and give you a reasonable time to put it right before we suspend the workspaces on that account.
Acceptable use
Kilogent gives agents real reach: email, phone calls, code, payments and the systems you connect. You agree to use it lawfully and not to:
- send unsolicited or deceptive communications, or let an agent send them on your behalf;
- connect systems, accounts or data you have no right to connect;
- try to break the isolation between workspaces, the whitelist of an agent or an approval gate;
- use the service to build a competing service or to extract our models, prompts or code;
- do anything that breaks the terms of a tool, model provider or MCP server you use through Kilogent.
We may suspend a workspace that puts other users, third parties or the service at risk, and will tell you why.
Intellectual property
You own what you bring into a workspace and, as far as the law allows, what the agents produce for you. You give us the licence we need to store and process that content in order to run the service, and no other.
We own Kilogent: the software, the design, the mark and the documentation. These terms do not give you any right in them beyond using the service.
AI output
Agents are built on large language models. They can be wrong, out of date or confidently mistaken, and they can misread an instruction. Kilogent is designed so that a person has the final say; you agree to keep it that way for anything that matters.
Output is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for the decisions you take on it and for checking anything you rely on.
Third-party tools, models and MCP servers
Agents reach the tools you connect through MCP, plugins and the model providers we route to. Each of those has its own terms, and you agree to them when you connect or use it. We are not responsible for a third-party service, its availability or what it does with data you send it.
When you connect an account you authorise the agents you whitelist to act on it, inside the approvals you set. Keep the credentials you give a private MCP under your control.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can end these terms if you break them and do not put it right after we ask, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice.
After termination your access ends. You can ask us for an export of your workspace content for 30 days afterwards; then we delete it as described in the privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, and our total liability to you for everything arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that agents will produce a particular result, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections you have under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the application with reasonable notice before it takes effect. Using Kilogent after that date means you accept the new terms.
Privacy policy
Last updated September 23, 2026Kilogent is a product of CodeBridger LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
This policy explains what personal data Kilogent collects, why, and what your rights are. CodeBridger LTD is the controller for your account data. For the content you and your organisation bring into a workspace, your organisation is the controller and we process it on its instructions.
What we collect
We collect only what the service needs:
- Account data: your name, email address, sign-in details and the organisation you belong to.
- Workspace content: the problems you describe, the tasks, files and messages on the board, and data from the tools you connect, to the extent your agents are allowed to read them.
- Billing data: seats, credit purchases and spend per task. Card details go to our payment processor and never reach us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and the pages you use, kept in logs for security and reliability.
- Support conversations: what you write in the support chat on kilogent.com, the address of the page you wrote it from, and your email address if you leave it.
How we use it
To run the service: to sign you in, to run agents on your tasks, to reach the people and tools you tell them to reach, to bill you and to answer your questions.
To keep it safe and working: to detect abuse, to investigate incidents and to understand what fails. We rely on our contract with you and on our legitimate interest in running a secure service, and on your consent where the law requires it.
AI processing
To perform a task, the relevant content is sent to one or more model providers. We route each step to the model that suits it and record which model ran it and what it spent, on the task.
We do not use your content to train models. We rely on model providers under API terms that commit them to the same, and we do not send content to a provider whose terms allow training on it.
Third-party services
We use a small number of processors to run Kilogent: cloud hosting, model providers, a payment processor, email delivery, and Google Analytics for website measurement and advertising. Each processes data only on our instructions and under a contract that protects it.
The tools and MCP servers you connect are your choice and are governed by their own privacy terms. An agent sends a tool only what the task needs and only if the tool is on that agent's whitelist.
Cookies
kilogent.com uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and read the site, and to measure our advertising. It stores cookies on your device. In the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland we ask before anything is stored: until you accept, nothing is written, and if you decline we also delete whatever an earlier answer left behind.
Elsewhere these cookies are on by default, and the same choice turns them off. You can change your answer whenever you like from the Cookies link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a refusal and do not ask again. The application separately uses storage that is strictly necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in, which needs no permission and is not covered by this choice.
The support chat in the corner of each page is Lumi, CodeBridger's own customer-support product. Until you open it, the only thing it keeps in your browser is how its button should look — the colour, the side and the label — refreshed every hour and saying nothing about you. The chat itself does not load until you open it. Once you do, it keeps an anonymous identifier and a reference to your conversation, so the conversation can carry on where you left it. That is storage for the chat you asked for, and it is not covered by the choice above.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to run the service. When you close your account, or an organisation deletes a workspace, the content is deleted within 30 days and removed from backups within 90 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside Kilogent is limited by workspace, by role and by each agent's whitelist, and anything that leaves the building waits for a person. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you we will tell you without undue delay, as the law requires.
To report a vulnerability, write to info@kilogent.com. A person reads it first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you access to the personal data we hold about you, and a copy of it in a portable form;
- correct it, restrict how we use it, or delete it;
- stop processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent where we relied on it.
Write to info@kilogent.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom or to the supervisory authority where you live in the European Union.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States, where some of our processors and model providers run. Where data leaves the UK or the EEA we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or the UK international data transfer agreement, and on the safeguards those require.
Children
Kilogent is for businesses and research groups and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top says when it last changed, and we will tell you by email or in the application about any change that affects your rights.
